Product description

The Rab Xenair Insulated Jacket is a lightweight "hoodless" version of the Xenair Alpine Insulated Jacket model.

Thanks to the use of PrimaLoft® Gold Active+ synthetic insulation in two different weights (80 and 60 g/m²) and their strategic distribution, the jacket does a great job of regulating body temperature when you're on the move and provides solid insulation even when you're standing. This eliminates the eternal need to change layers. As has been customary with Raba in recent years, this model also uses insulation that is 55% made from recycled materials.

Perfect wind resistance is ensured by the proven Pertex® Quantum Air upper material. In addition to excellent wind resistance, it offers superior breathability thanks to the open woven structure, which makes it an ideal partner for active mountain use.

In terms of cut and technical processing, the jacket lacks nothing fundamental. The main, two-way YKK zipper is a matter of course, thanks to which you can easily secure your partner. You can keep your hands warm in two pockets with zippers. In addition, the jacket can be playfully packed into one of them. You will also be pleased with one breast pocket with a zipper, which is great for storing things that you want to always have at hand.

The articulated cut of the sleeves supports the range of movement. The sleeve cuffs are elastic and very adaptable when worn with gloves. The lower edge of the jacket can be easily adjusted using the integrated drawstring.

The Rab Xenair Insulated Jacket will be an excellent all-round jacket for active and fast movement in the mountains or will stand out as an additional middle layer in really winter conditions.

Insulated jackets from Rab

Rab was founded in 1981 by Scottish climber Rab Carrington in Sheffield, UK. Carrington established the brand after returning from an expedition to Argentina's Patagonia, where he learned how to make sleeping bags. Rab was later acquired by Equip Outdoor Technologies.
