The durable Pertex® Quantum outer fabric can easily face the biggest mountain slot: wind and freezing precipitation. Rab was founded in 1981 by Scottish climber Rab Carrington in Sheffield, UK. Carrington established the brand after returning from an expedition to Argentina's Patagonia, where he learned how to make sleeping bags. Rab was later acquired by Equip Outdoor Technologies.
