Park Tool PT-IR-1-3 set for mounting cables, bowdens and tubes
Extended* kit for threading electrical cables, shift and brake cables and hydraulic hoses through carbon, duralumin and titanium frames. It contains an external guide magnet, five 188 cm long cables covered with plastic (at the ends of which magnets are attached and on four of them unique adapters) and a connecting threaded pin. The introduction cables can be easily pulled through the frames using the opposite polarities of the magnets. Compatible with frames of all sizes made of carbon, titanium and aluminum alloys.
Specification of the adapters at the ends of the cables:
- threaded mandrel ... to capture the bowden or brake hose
- gumový návlek ... to catch the cables of the electronic shift, e.g. Shimano® Di2, SRAM® RED® eTAP®, FSA® K-Force® WE® and Campagnolo® EPS
- atypical Di2® adapter ... to capture Shimano® E-tube® Di2® cable compatible with small, 6mm holes
- atypical adapter Di2® EW-SD300 ... to capture the Shimano® E-tube® Di2® EW-SD300 cable
- magnet ... to capture the magnets located on the other cables
- Specification of connecting threaded stud:
- a right-hand thread on one end and a left-hand thread on the other, a handy helper for connecting the old and new bowden or brake hose
- Mechanic's recommendation: You can make screwing in the threaded pin easier by using a centering key.
* if you already have the original IR-1-2 set, it is easiest to supplement it with a new cable (PT-351) and pin (PT-352)
