Climbing Technology Otto curved belay/rope eight, silver
Eight with a curved profile and a square eye for belaying and rappelling. Suitable for mountain climbing and sports and traditional multi-length routes. Ideal for belaying a first-time climber in situations where dynamic fall arrest is required and for abseiling. The angular shape eliminates twisting of the rope and the curved profile allows two different rappelling speeds. The body of the eighth is made of a light hot-forged alloy. Suitable for use with half, double and single ropes.
