The CHANGABANG JACKET is completely waterproof. It is a GORE-TEX® Pro membrane of the porous type. One such pore is twenty thousand times smaller than a water molecule and therefore only allows water vapor molecules to pass through. So the moisture from the sweat gets out, but the water drops don't penetrate inside. Thanks to this, the membrane is highly breathable and waterproof at the same time.

The most perfect seams

Small details make a big difference. Mountain Equipment hardshell jackets are sewn using smooth seams. You won't see any threads on the outside of the jacket. A jacket sewn in this way will last much longer, because the seam threads do not rub against the backpack, rock and other objects. There are situations when it is impossible to do without a hood. And this jacket takes that for granted. Therefore, the CHANGBANG JACKET has a specially shaped Mountain HC Hood, which is compatible with a climbing helmet. It is equipped with a reinforced visor and the hood can be adjusted so that it fits perfectly even without a helmet. The drawstrings of the hood are sewn into the channels so that they don't bother you in the wind.

The sleeves of the CHANGBANG JACKET are made of one piece with inserts placed so that the sleeve is natural in every position and does not restrict you in any movement. The cuffs of the sleeves are slanted, so they fit perfectly regardless of movements and at the same time protect against snow, wind and rain much better than straight cuts.

Detachable snow belt
On the inside, you will find a snow belt, which is designed with real precision. But you have the option to leave it at home at any time. Just unfasten it with the zipper.

Zips that really don't get wet
The highest model series of zippers of the renowned YKK® brand, namely the Aquaguard® type, is used for the pockets and the main zipper. If water still gets through the zipper, there is a layer of GORE-TEX® Pro fabric on the inside, after which the water flows down and continues out under the zipper. The all-over zip of the jacket is two-way and there is a patent lock at the bottom. If you put on the jacket all the way to the stand and don't want to put it under the seat harness, then you unbutton the lower part of the jacket and secure it with a patent under the fuse.
