Petzl ABSORBICA-Y MGO 80 cm fall absorber

ABSORBICA-Y MGO is a double connecting device with an integrated fall absorber, intended for movement along vertical structures or along a horizontal securing line (textile or steel rope) with progressive anchor points. It has several harness installation options and can be used with different types of carabiners. It is available in two lengths, 80 or 150 cm (without carabiners). The version with a length of 150 cm has elastic loops so that they do not restrict the progress. With MGO couplings, ABSORBICA-Y MGO is certified according to European and Russian standards.

Absorbs shock energy in the event of a fall:

• Gradually pulling out the seams of the strap absorbs the energy of the fall and dampens the impact force acting on the user
• For user weight from 50 to 130 kg, including equipment
• Progressive plucking reduces slow plucking in light users

Small Size:

• Compact, for easy handling
• The 150 cm version has elastic tightening loops so that the progress is not restricted
• A durable fabric case with an opening system at each end protects the shock absorber from abrasion or dirt and allows regular inspection of the absorber

Two harness installation options, depending on use:

• When connecting/disconnecting frequently, use a carabiner with a STRING protector (included in the package) or a MICRO SWIVEL swivel to avoid tangling
• For a low disconnection frequency, use the RING OPEN connection ring, whose circular shape ensures optimal positioning, or the SWIVEL OPEN hinge to prevent tangling

Two variants of carabiners at the ends of the loops:

• Comes with two special high capacity MGO clutches
• Available in two lengths, 80 and 150 cm
