Why BCAA 4:1:1?
Among the three branched chain amino acids, leucine is considered the most important. For this reason, the ratio offered in common supplements is usually 2:1:1, so compared to isoleucine and valine, a double dose is included; in other words, leucine represents 50% of the total amount. With BCAA 4:1:1, the ratio is 4:1:1, so the leucine content is 66.6%. Many scientists emphasize the importance of leucine and believe that it is the amino acid among the three BCAAs that favors protein biosynthesis. Walker a kol. (2011) found that the incorporation of leucine-enriched BCAA (4:1:1 ratio) increased and prolonged protein biosynthesis after strength training.
Composition: L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine, Filler: cellulose; Release agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride).
Instructions for use: take preferably 5 tablets a day before or after training.
Recommended daily dose: take a maximum of 5 tablets per day.
