Product description

The brand new XCR 2 29 braided wheels are high quality and very light wheels designed for performance and racing XC. The ultra-light and at the same time high-strength carbon rims have a hookless design, which increases the overall durability of the rims and also allows for greater internal width without increasing weight. The larger internal rim width is important for compatibility with the wider tires commonly used on XC wheels today.

Hookless carbon rims - improving the consistency of the carbon structure and increasing the overall strength
Reinforced edges of the rims for better distribution of force from impacts, which increases the overall strength and durability of the rims
Improved inner rim profile, stronger rim structure with refined smoother transitions
Precision-reinforced spike holes: increased strength without increasing weight
Greater inner width of the rim: allows the use of wider tires for better traction and stability in difficult terrain
Rim parameters: outer width 31 mm, inner width 25 mm
Giant Tubeless System - rims are tubeless (tape and valves are part of the set)
Front hub: Giant MTB Alloy
Rear hub: Giant MTB Alloy, Shimano HG nut, ratchet system (3-Pawl 30T)
The rear hub is also compatible with SRAM XDR and Shimano Micro Spline nuts (sold separately)
Fixing discs on 6 holes
Hubs are designed for Boost fixed axle: front 110x15 mm, rear 148x12 mm

Giant was established in 1971 in Taiwan, they are one of the largest bicycle producers in the world. In the beginning, they made bikes for other companies. Since 1981 Giant has been supplying the market with bicycles under their name. They were one of the first companies to start mass production of carbon framesets. Liv is their brand for bikes for women offering MTB, road and gravel bikes. Components are also included in their offer as well as wheelsets under the name Cadex (their brand name).
