Product description

Lightness, durability, grip and absolute freedom when riding in the mountains is what you can expect from this wheel.

The wheel is suitable for very rough surfaces with jumps and stairs up to a height of approx. 120 cm at speeds of 40 km/h. For riders with very good riding skills.

The 1900 Spline is the first step in the DT Swiss MTB line, where the company wanted to achieve reliability while focusing the rider on the given moment of free riding. This is helped by the aforementioned Ratchet LN freehub system in the case of the rear wheel.

Compared to classic ratchet hubs, which have a small engagement area, the one with the Ratchet system is much larger and all the teeth engage simultaneously, which puts a small load on the hub and higher reliability.

The rims on the 1900 Spline are not welded, but are joined by a socket joint - a precision socket insert - which is more efficient to manufacture than a welded rim, but meets the same testing requirements and the added weight is minimal.

The M 502 uses eyelets and no PHR. Both rims share an optimized balance of resistance and weight. With an internal width of 30 mm, the tubeless installation is user-friendly and provides the tires with the necessary support.
