The Tacx T2900 belongs to a series of trainers that do not transfer power through the casing, making it so quiet that you will only hear your chain.
Just remove the rear wheel, put the cassette on the trainer and connect to the application on your smartphone or tablet.
The electromagnetic brake with a maximum power of 1500 W enables more accurate power transmission and measurement. It can simulate inclines of 0 to 10% and a straight road if you use the trainer without controls.
Control is performed on a phone or tablet with a freely available application (App Store and Play Store).
Communication between the phone / tablet and the trainer takes place using Bluetooth.
The trainer is also equipped with ANT + transmission, which is used to connect to a PC.
For this, it is necessary to purchase Upgrade Smart T2990.
The chest strap is not part of the package, but it is possible to use chest straps with ANT + or Bluetooth transmission, e.g. Tacx T1994 (Polar BT belts do not work). Another optional equipment is the T2092 tablet holder.
