Pirelli launches the P ZERO Race 150 °, a special version of the racing tire dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the company that began writing its history of tire production precisely with those intended for bicycles. The celebratory cape debuted at the World Tour races of the Trek-Segafredo team at the just-concluded Giro d'Italia.

The P ZERO Race 150 ° is a versatile tire intended for use with a tube and especially suitable for long races and training. It is characterized by low weight, smooth rolling and great grip thanks to the special SmartEVO rubber compound. This mixture is formulated as a ternary mixture of polymers with a "smart" expression and thus enables excellent grip in both dry and wet conditions and at the same time very low rolling resistance when driving. The construction of the tire consists of a nylon skeleton with a fiber density of 120 TPI, which is protected by TechBELT Road technology, improving puncture resistance without making the tire heavier.

The P ZERO Race 150 ° is manufactured in Italy, in the newly renovated Pirelli factory in Bollata, near Milan. The tire offers all the valued features of the original P ZERO Race model, which is a bestseller from the Milanese company. In addition, it is decorated with an exclusive gold graphic design, the "extended P 150°" logo, and exclusive packaging. Available sizes are 26-622 and 28-622.

SmartEVO rubber compound
The new SmartEVO rubber compound uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing specific performance qualities to achieve an optimal balance of opposing properties such as grip and rolling resistance. Pirelli has used its knowledge and experience from more than 100 years in the development of rubber compounds for motorsport, when these products have always been used in the highest level races in all disciplines. This extensive knowledge from the development and racing department has allowed Pirelli to create a triple polymer blend with "smart" performance properties for bicycle tires and forms the basis for the excellent characteristics of the SmartEVO compound - better grip in both dry and wet conditions, and at the same time lower rolling resistance. Pirelli has created a performance rubber compound designed and tuned for all modern road cycling disciplines, from local or World Tour races to epic adventures, where climates and varied surfaces demand tires that reliably perform at the highest level in all circumstances.

TechBELT
A high-performance braided structure with an added layer of highly cut-resistant fabric under the tread so that the tire can provide excellent puncture resistance in a wide range of conditions. The combination of this layer and the layers of the braid frame allows to achieve the most effective parameters of rolling resistance and weight for this construction for use with a tube.
