The Fenix CL20R is a practical rechargeable portable lantern that you can use to illuminate a room, tent or desk. Sixteen high-brightness diodes hidden under a hemispherical diffuser provide a luminous flux of up to 300 lumens (ANSI) with a neutral shade of white light. The advantage of this shade of light is a more natural and contrasting color rendering in nature.

Power is provided by a built-in lithium-polymer battery, which is charged via a micro-USB connector. The lantern offers a total of six lighting modes, including red light, which does not interfere with the adaptation of the eyes to darkness. The lantern is also equipped with an endurance function. For longer use in turbo (300 lumens), high (130 lumens) and medium (40 lumens) modes, the lantern gradually reduces power in small steps to achieve longer lighting times. Thanks to the durable and impact-resistant construction with IP66 protection, the light can be used safely even in bad weather (heavy rain).

The underside of the lantern is equipped with a hanging eye and a strong neodymium magnet, so it can be easily hung or fastened to anything made of iron. Thanks to its compact dimensions and weight of 91 grams, including the battery, the lantern is especially suitable for hiking.

All parameters of the flashlight (luminous flux, battery lighting time, water resistance, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI / NEMA FL 1-2009 standard .

Use of the Fenix CL20R luminaire

To turn on or off, hold down the side button for 1 second. The four power levels are switched by pressing the button, the red light is activated by pressing the button twice quickly. To activate the red flash, first turn on the red light and then press the button again.

Charging - Open the rubber cover of the micro USB connector on the side of the lamp and connect it to a computer, USB network adapter or car USB adapter using the included USB cable. It is also possible to use any mobile phone charger with a micro USB connector for charging. The side button lights up red during charging and lights up green when fully charged. After charging, thoroughly reseal the charging connector with a rubber cap. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 1.6 hours. In an emergency, the lamp can also be used during charging, but only 1 lumen and 40 lumen modes will be available.

Battery charge status indication - after a short press of the button (the lantern must be switched off) the LED indicator in the button is activated for 3 seconds. If the LED is green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green blinking means 50-85% capacity. If it glows red, it is 20-50% charged. Flashing red indicates that less than 20% of the battery capacity remains.
