Fenix ​​HM62-T is a high-performance running headlamp that offers a luminous flux of up to 1200 lumens of neutral white light with an afterglow of 150 meters. The advantage of this shade of light is a more natural and contrasting presentation of colors in the field. The headlamp also has a red light with a power of 5 lumens. The package also includes a rechargeable Li-ion battery type 18650 with a capacity of 3400 mAh, which is charged via the USB-C connector on its body. The headlamp is especially suitable for night running, cross-country skiing or skiing, hiking, fishing or speleology. The all-metal construction made of a light magnesium alloy ensures high resistance, optimal cooling, and at the same time it is fully waterproof according to the IP68 standard up to a depth of 2 meters underwater, and all this while maintaining a low weight .

Like other Fenix ​​trail headlamps , the HM62-T is also equipped with a Sport Fit System strap with one wheel for easy adjustment of the strap length. You can quickly and comfortably tighten the headlamp on your head with one hand. The strap is perforated for quick sweat drainage and equipped with reflective elements that ensure good passive visibility and also has an integrated whistle for crisis situations.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

The use

From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the lamp on the battery. Before first use , remove it from the battery.

• When the headlamp is off, it will turn on to low white light mode by holding down the button for 0.5 seconds.
• The off-headlight turns on to a red light by pressing the button twice quickly.
• The headlamp is turned off by holding down the button for 0.5 seconds.

If the headlamp is switched on, it is possible to cycle through power modes in the order of 5 - 130 - 400 - 1200 lumens (when turning on the white light) by briefly pressing the button. When the red light is on, it is possible to cycle through the power modes in the order of 5 lumens constant light - 5 lumens flashing by briefly pressing the button

Battery charge status indication - After a short press of the button (headlight must be switched off), the LED indicator of the battery charge status in the button is activated. Green light means the battery is charged at 85-100%, flashing green light at 50-85%, red light 25-50%, flashing red light means less than 25% battery capacity.

Locking the headlamp against unwanted activation - Loosen the battery cap of the headlamp by a quarter of a turn, this will break the electrical contact and the headlamp cannot be switched on. The button can also be locked electronically - with the headlamp off, hold the button down for 3 seconds. After locking, the lamp flashes red. To unlock, hold the button for 3 seconds again.

Low battery warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to lower power modes. If the headlamp is already switched to the lowest power mode and the battery is critically discharged, the indicator in the button will start flashing red. However, the headlamp will continue to shine until the battery is completely discharged. Note: the low battery warning is only calibrated to the voltage of rechargeable Li-ion batteries.

Charging

Remove the battery from the headlamp. Plug the USB cable into the side USB-C connector, the light on the top of the battery lights up red during charging. It lights up blue when fully charged. When using a USB source with a current of 1500 mA and higher, the charging time is approx. 2.5-3 hours. The used Li-ion battery does not suffer from a memory effect, so it can be recharged at any time. After charging, fully tighten the battery cap of the headlamp.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
• When using disposable CR123A batteries, do not try to charge them in the headlamp.
• Remove the battery from the lamp if you are not going to use it for a long time or if the batteries are already discharged. Otherwise, some low-quality batteries may damage the headlamp.
• If the headlamp flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  
  • The battery is almost empty - charge it or replace it.
  • The headlight cap is enabled - tighten it.
  • The electrical contacts are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
