Black Diamond JETFORCE PRO 25 l avalanche backpack

Black Diamond JETFORCE PRO 25 L is a new avalanche backpack that has a JetForce Pro avalanche airbag with PIEPS technology, which has an inflation system with the help of a powerful fan. The fan is capable of inflating an airbag with a volume of 200 liters in 3.5 seconds.

You trigger the airbag using a pull rod that is connected to electronics powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The battery runs the fan, which runs at 60-70,000 rpms with a power of 20 amps. After three minutes, the fan reverses its operation and releases the airbag. Rescuers then have easier access to the buried, thanks to automatic blowing to create an air bubble.

The revolutionary JetForce technology is rechargeable and not problematic when traveling by plane. Thanks to Bluetooth, you can easily update the software via the PIEPS app on your smartphone and customize the settings according to your needs.

The 25 liter backpack is equipped with a separate pocket for avalanche equipment and has enough storage space for additional layers of clothing, water and other equipment. Of course, there are loops for fixing the tools necessary for movement on the ice. Fastening the skis does not prevent the deployment of the airbag. The trigger rod can be adjusted in height and, if necessary, mounted on the left or right shoulder strap. The hip belt has a redesigned leg loop strap that is now easier to pull off and has a carabiner for quick attachment to the hip belt.
