The technical hybrid jacket from the SKIALP series is the ideal companion for active winter sports such as ski mountaineering, cross-country skiing or hiking at low temperatures. Thanks to the materials used and their location, it effectively cooperates with the body during active movement. It combines excellent thermoregulation, protection against weather conditions and maximum range of motion. The unique Polartec® Alpha® Direct active insulation, protected by a light and elastic two-layer membrane, is located on the front part of the body, shoulders, sleeves, and partially on the back. This insulation does not need a lining, which means it can be in direct contact with the skin or other layers of fabric, significantly reducing the weight of the garment. Polartec® Alpha® Direct offers excellent thermal comfort and has one of the highest vapor permeability values on the market. Windproof and waterproof membrane (10,000mm/10,000g/m2/24h) protects exposed parts of the body from wind, rain and snow. Maximum comfort and range of motion is complemented by breathable and elastic material, located on the sides, on the inside of the shoulders and part of the back. The jacket is functionally complemented by two large zipped pockets, also available after the waist belt of the backpack is on. They reliably store belts, glasses or gloves. On the inside, there are two additional mesh pockets in which you can place smaller items or a smartphone. The ergonomic hood made of a waterproof and water-resistant membrane has an extended peak and is compatible with a helmet. The silicone tape in the back of the bottom hem keeps the jacket in place and prevents it from rolling up. Thanks to its material construction, technical features and optimal weight, SOKOLEC is an ideal companion for demanding physical activities in freezing weather.
