The efficient women's ORLOVA jacket from the SKITOURING series with an ergonomic hybrid structure regulates the internal climate and ensures that your skin remains dry even during demanding physical activities such as cross-country skiing or ski-touring. Profiled parts and super elastic materials ensure excellent mobility. The unique Polartec® Alpha® Direct active insulation, protected by a lightweight elastic membrane with two layers, is located on the front of the body, shoulders, sleeves and upper back. As one of the best synthetic insulations on the market, Alpha® Direct optimizes heat, is moisture resistant, has excellent vapor permeability and works even when wet. Alpha® Direct does not need any lining, which significantly reduces weight.
A two-layer membrane resistant to wind and water (10,000 mm / 10,000 g/m2/ 24h) covers the Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation and protects exposed parts of the body from wind, rain and snow. Elasticity and breathability is provided by the amazingly elastic Blizzard® Thermal comfort knitted material on the back and forearms. This Italian material has a special fabric density that can maintain the internal temperature even when the material is stretched. The risk of hypothermia is therefore lower than with conventional elastic fabrics.
The underarm pads are made of fabric inspired by GRID technology, which quickly removes sweat from the body. If you wish to fasten the jacket tightly, pull down the adjustable lower edge of the jacket. Elastic cuffs with a thumb hole go very well with gloves. The two-way YYK® front zipper is complemented by two zippered pockets with mesh inside. This exclusive and high-performance jacket is ready for intense physical activities in a cold environment, with universal use for winter sports.
