Compact, lightweight ice ax designed for classic alpinism and glacier tourism.
Light and comfortable:
- The head provides excellent grip
- Both the tip and the handle are light, yet extremely durable and strong
Excellent anchoring properties in hard snow and ice:
- The shape of the tip enables a sure and stable jam
- The forged stainless steel tip is equipped with teeth and the 3 mm thick tip widens towards the head.
- The lower end of the handle is equipped with a forged stainless steel tip, which makes it easier to stick into hard snow
High strength and practical elements:
High quality steel tip (same material as the technical ice weapons)- The very durable steel blade provides support for a comfortable grip and the shape of the edges ensures efficient mowing of the stubble
- The slope of the blade directs the ax into the snow in the correct position (at "piolet-canne")
- The head and lower tip are equipped with holes for connecting a carabiner or loop
- The LINKIN loop is a standard part of the ice ax
- The handle is made from high quality 7075 aerospace grade aluminum and is anodized for added protection
- The lower part of the handle has ergonomic moldings that make it easier to grip
- It is produced in three lengths: 60, 68 and 75 cm
