Product description

Enduro specialist with big strokes! The biggest novelty in the FOX 2021 models is definitely the brand new Float 38 enduro fork, designed for modern and uncompromising super enduro riding. Could a 2 mm larger diameter of the inner legs really make such a big difference? FOX says yes. But it's, of course, more than just those 2 millimeters. The new FOX high-lift enduro fork offers a stroke between 160 - 180 mm and has one hidden novelty that other forks do not have. The internal shape of the fork post is oval, which increases rigidity without much weight gain. So far, only the FOX Float 38 fork has this technology.

TECHNOLOGIES:
Float: The lightweight FLOAT air suspension system automatically balances the positive and negative air chambers to increase sensitivity and traction regardless of air pressure settings. Riders can fine-tune the properties of the positive air spring using Volume Air inserts.
Bleeders: The forks have vent valves at the back of the lower legs that allow you to balance the pressure in the fork legs with atmospheric pressure. Different pressure in the fork reduces the sensitivity of the spring, so you can even out it by pressing the valve with your finger. The pressure in the legs changes mainly at higher temperatures, e.g. for intensive use on long descents or at high altitudes. For the Performance version, the vent valves must be purchased separately.
Lower Leg Channels: New air-oil ducts allow the accumulated air in the lower legs to pass through the sliding bushes. The second function of the channels is to allow the oil from the lower feet to reach up to the upper seals (seals) and keep them freshly lubricated.
Floating Axle: The new axle system prevents the parallelism of the fork legs from being affected by the different widths of the front hub. Perfect alignment reduces friction when springing, which is more efficient and smoother. The mechanism on the right leg of the fork can be adjusted exactly to your hub width, and when pulling the axle, compression of the legs is eliminated.
Lower Leg Arch: The bridge between the lower legs has a new rounded shape, which increased the rigidity of the fork and at the same time created more space between the bridge and the bicycle frame when the fork is fully compressed.
Oval steerer: The internal shape of the fork post is oval, which increases rigidity with only a minimal increase in overall weight.
