X2 Factory two-chamber air damper developed for Trail, Enduro and DH riders, Lockout, length 210 mm, stroke 50 mm.

The completely redesigned X2 two-chamber shock absorber is an absolute milestone in the shock absorber market. With individually adjustable bounce and compression levels at high and low speeds, this damper can be adapted to a wide range of pistes to offer you performance you've never experienced before.

In the previous model, the air chamber was already optimized to be filled with a maximum air pressure of 300 PSI. This reduces the risk of damage during extreme jumps. Furthermore, the design of the valve has been changed to prevent air loss during inflation. The new low-friction seal and the optimization of the internal design for greater torsional rigidity also improve the already sensitive behavior.

The small expansion tank allows easier integration of the damper into various frame constructions.

The GRIP2 damping system, taken from the sprung forks, allows for optimal adjustment.

EVOL
An air chamber called EVOL with an increased volume for a negative air chamber. EVOL means "Extra Volume". This setting should also have a positive effect on the quality of the suspension by reducing the breakaway torque. This leads to better traction and a softer response. At the same time, it is possible to slightly lift the characteristic curve in the middle stroke range, which becomes more linear.

Variable valve control (VVC)
Fox put all his knowledge into this silence. Based on the GRIP2 shock absorber, the compression at high and low speeds and the bounce at high and low speeds can be set separately. The setup must be done carefully, but then offers endless fun of driving on any surface.
With the integrated variable valve control (VVC) system, the sensitivity of the high-speed rebound is changed by a leaf spring, not by a change in preload. This requires a finely measured function and adjustment. In addition, attention was paid to the use of low friction materials throughout the development process. This allows for a very gentle response and significantly increases comfort.

MCU elastomer stop
This stop made of Micro Cellular Urethane foam does not absorb oil and increases the progressiveness of the end of the stroke.
