It is an absolutely uncompromising time trial racket. The Lapierre Aerostorm DRS exists for one purpose only, to race against time in time trials! To this end, we have combined all of our knowledge of aerodynamics to deliver speed in its purest form.
The Lapierre Aerostorm DRS frame was developed in collaboration with ACE (Aero Concept Engineering). Aerodynamic optimization specialists use (CFD) Computational Fluid Dynamics and wind tunnels. ACE is responsible for a large number of tests for Formula 1, skiing disciplines, or aviation, they set the standards in their field!
After three months of testing and calculations during which every element of the frame was optimized, the 3D model could be completed and the first mold produced. Wind tunnel testing then allowed the final version of the Lapierre Aerostorm frame to be approved.
The result: the Lapierre Aerostorm DRS is a frame with a perfect aerodynamic profile. Extremely stiff, extremely light, low center of gravity, ready to win. The Lapierre Aerostorm DRS has set a new standard for time trials and triathlon. Proven over the last few seasons by the World Tour riders of the Groupama FDJ team.
