POC Octal Raceday - A new generation of helmets for road cycling. Combination of safety, ventilation, comfort and low weight.
The award-winning Octal helmet has been designed to take the next step in road cycling. The helmet better protects a larger part of the head, offers optimal ventilation and weighs less than 200 g (size M, CE-version). Increased safety is achieved by greater coverage of the head, temples and back of the head and by strengthening the EPS insert in the most exposed areas. The " monocoque " construction increases the safety features and structural integrity of the helmet while maintaining a low weight. POC increased the vents in a unique way: Instead of using many small holes, the Octal has fewer but larger ones. This design allows more air to flow through the helmet, resulting in better aerodynamics. Simple size adjustment system with a comfortable and secure fit. Coolbest padding helps reduce the temperature at the interface between the helmet and the head.
