The Valparola MTB helmet is extremely stable and at the same time very light thanks to the connection between upper and lower shell by Inmold construction. The outer shell is made of ceramic material which is thin, but break and scratch resistant.
A special padding reduces the formation of bacteria and thus counteracts the formation of odours. The front openings are equipped with a net fabric against insects. For a perfect fit at the back of the head, the headband is adjustable in inclination.

ANTIBACTERIAL INTERIOR
Helmet pads made of a special padding material reduce the formation of bacteria and thus prevent perspiration odors.
BUG NET
For protection against insect bites, the front holes of some models are lined with a net.
EDGE PROTECT
EDGE PROTECT is applied to the bottom edges of the helmet using INMOLD technology – delivering a true plus in safety in side impacts and protection against damage in day-to-day use.
CERAMIC
CERAMIC is the name for the outer shell of all ALPINA helmets featuring INMOLD manufacturing technology. This thin and light-weight material is extremely break- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic.
SHIELD PROTECT
The detachable shield protects against dirt splash as well as direct sunlight.
INMOLD TEC
INMOLD helmets are produced by foaming the inner shell underneath the outer shell under high pressure and heat. Thanks to the complete bonding between the upper and lower shells INMOLD helmets are extremely sturdy and very light. In addition, they offer clearly more safety than spot-bonded helmets.
ERGOMATIC
All ALPINA helmets are equipped with ERGOMATIC strap buckles. The anti-twist, automatic multi-step adjustment system is easy to operate using just one hand and prevented from opening in case of a crash.
CUSTOM FIT
The CUSTOM FIT system features three-way inclination adjustment for perfect adaptation to the back of the head.
Y-CLIP
The Y-CLIP brings the two straps together and fi xes them comfortably under the ear. Easy opening and closing makes adjustment to personal requirements child’s play.
RUN SYSTEM ERGO PRO
The top-of-the-line model of ALPINA’s adjustment systems features two large “head rests” and an adjustment wheel, all made of a two-component mix of plastics and rubber.
