Castelli made this Nelmezzo RoS jersey with a double-layer fabric that keeps more wind out than your traditional jersey. The airflow is not completely blocked by the membrane-free fabric - this ensures maximum breathability. Hence the Nelmezzo name – Italian for “in the middle.”
The tighter weave and new Nano Flex Xtra Dry make this all but waterproof: you can wear it by itself on wet roads or in light rain/mist, although in steady rain you will likely still reach for a rain shell.

NANO FLEX
Exclusively engineered by Castelli. They took their thermal fleecy stretch Thermoflex fabric nanofilaments to create the most water-repellent fabric finish ever. Drops of water stay as spherical balls on top of the fabric without leaving a trace.
