Product description

"The best skialp jacket in the world." (Polartec Apex Award 2020)

The Miage ski jacket is the result of a collaboration between Karpos, Polartec and the organizers of the prestigious PIERRA MENTA ski race. It has the most modern technologies and materials currently available in the field of ski clothing. The surface of the jacket is made of thin, windproof material with water-repellent DWR treatment. Polartec Alpa Direct 90g synthetic insulation is located on the front, back and sleeves. The rest of the jacket is made of abrasion-resistant Polartec® Hard Shell material. The jacket also contains two front pockets with high-quality zippers and two other large-capacity, open pockets made of mesh material.

Polartec® Alpha® technology
The latest form of synthetic insulation that provides excellent warmth and breathability with minimal weight and volume. Alpha® created high thermal insulation without the use of down materials. It differs from traditional insulation found in racing clothing with a sandwich construction made of elastic and breathable materials.

Polartec® Hard Shell
Fabrics with a special surface treatment that protects the eyes from abrasion and tearing. The polymer treatment connects all the fibers of the fabric so that no external agent gets between them. Thanks to this modification, the clothes are more resistant and durable.

K-Shell material
Windproof, durable and flexible fabric with various softshell constructions, which are equipped with a thin and medium thick layer of insulation.

Karpos
It is the name of the technical collection of outdoor clothing from Sportful, which was created in 2007. It mainly focuses on ski-alpine, MTB and outdoor clothing. Bora-hansgrohe provides leisure clothing to the cycling World Tour team.
