Cyclingnews.com claims that "this jacket has set a whole new bar for what a winter jacket can do" and that's exactly what the perfect winter jacket should be. We think we've made our best jacket even better with the new generation, the Alpha Doppio RoS.

Even the best currently available materials with a good level of breathability cannot deal with the sweat and heat generated during high-intensity riding. That's why we've developed a two-layer construction that allows you to have the outer, windproof layer unzipped while the inner insulating layer remains on, allowing moisture to escape through airflow and the outer layer not coming into direct contact with the skin. When riding uphill, you can completely rip off the outer layer to vent the moisture and turn it on before going down and you'll be completely dry inside. It works so well that you feel like they are lines.

For this generation, we used a softer and warmer insulating material - Polartec® Alpha Direct. We also made a few changes to the ends of the jacket: the neck, the waist and, first of all, the wrists. We lengthened the neck and made it durable so that it moves with you, whether you're pedaling while standing or riding with a friend at a joint training session in January. We created a stretch panel on the waist with a flat silicone hem, which fits perfectly and insulates against the wind without rolling or sliding up. We've updated the wrist termination, which now has an inner layer that fits tightly to the wrist and goes into the glove and an outer layer that wraps around the outside of the glove so water runs off the glove instead of into the glove.

This jacket can withstand wet conditions, we used GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® with waterproof sealing of critical shoulder seams. The other seams are hidden from direct contact with water, and the water-repellent treatment of the fabric keeps most of the moisture out. The jacket is, as we say, "essentially waterproof", to the maximum extent while maintaining a balance between water protection, breathability and comfort. We don't claim that not even a drop will penetrate, but we regularly take long rides in rainy weather and are completely dry. These features make it the favorite jacket of most of our ambassadors and staff, and is the most versatile winter jacket we've ever made.
