HOW DOES VIVID WORK?
VIVID technology was developed by the Giro brand in cooperation with a global leader in the field of optics - ZEISS Optics. Standard ski goggles completely block the so-called blue light. It has long been believed that blue light equals bad light to see in the snow. But there is one problem: the snow is not white. As the most reflective surface on the planet, snow is actually blue. Our research has shown that blue light is important for the correct vision and reading of snow-covered terrain. VIVID technology transmits part of the blue light, which increases the contrast but at the same time blocks dangerous UV radiation.
