The SIGMA iD.LIFE sports watch is an excellent helper when doing sports with heart rate measurement without wearing a chest strap.
On the back of the iD.LIFE watch, you will find a green diode that is used to measure the heart rate. The green color contrasts with the red color of the blood, so the watch measures the heart rate according to the blood flow through the vessels and veins in the wrist. This is the first model of the Sigma brand that does not need a chest strap to detect the heart rate.
The SIGMA iD.LIFE sports watch has an attractive design with a large display and simple controls. Thanks to the possibility of setting training in different heart rates and calculating the maximum heart rate, your training will always be effective. The watch will alert you by vibrating when the maximum heart rate is reached.
The watch also includes a pedometer, thanks to which you have immediate information about the number of steps you have taken that day.
You will also appreciate the activity meter, which detects how much time you spend moving in total. The values are stored in the memory for one month, so you can find out the statistics of the steps taken and the time spent in an active way directly on the watch. You don't need a smartphone to find out the data.
The watch is attached to the wrist with a black silicone strap, which is very pleasant to the touch, resistant to damage and, thanks to its hypoallergenic properties, suitable even for the most sensitive individuals.

Heart rate measurement from the wrist
The iD.LIFE model measures heart rate from the wrist using an optical sensor, thereby eliminating the use of a chest sensor, which is very comfortable
During the training, the heart rate is recorded permanently for the evaluation of the training data. Outside of training, you can view the current heart rate in the fitness bracelet mode.
The principle of pulse measurement from the wrist is as follows: changes in tissue blood flow are monitored using the PPG optical sensor. The PPG sensor consists of a light source and a photoelectric element. The sensor is able to monitor tissue blood flow changes, from which the resulting heart rate is then calculated.

iD.LIFE watch - your fitness "coach"
The target zone can be monitored on the graphic indicator. With the help of this graphic display on the display and the method of vibration, feedback is given when the target zone is exceeded or not reached.
The indicators of the 4 zones are automatically set according to the entered data (gender, date of birth, weight). One zone can be set subjectively according to the needs of the user.

Description of training functions
Feedback - if the target zone is not selected, iD.LIFE will show you the status of your training on the display based on your heart rate. Depending on the current load, the status will be displayed - regeneration / cardio / fitness / power / speed.
Target zones - if you choose one of the preset target zones (calculated based on your maximum heart rate): Regeneration (0-60% SFmax): muscle regeneration, improved metabolism, stress reduction, relaxation
Cardio (61-70% SFmax): improves fitness, accelerates regeneration, supports metabolism, effective fat burning
Fitness (71-80% SFmax): improvement of aerobic level, leads to easier handling of moderate loads
Power (81-90% SFmax): increase in maximum power, endurance
Speed (more than 90% SFmax): maximum effort, increase in maximum power, speed
Custom: option to set according to individual preferences
TAP display
Tapping the display to quickly switch between displayed training information. You will appreciate it especially in winter, when it is not necessary to take off your gloves and you can easily switch with a tap. By tapping on the display in fitness bracelet mode, you activate the display backlight.
Statistics up to 12 months
Monthly statistics on training and activities can be viewed easily and at any time on the display.
The displayed values are: number of trainings / training time / distance / calories / times in target zones /
Achieved daily trophies (bronze / silver / gold).
Description of the functions of the iD.LIFE fitness bracelet
The graphic in the form of a stick figure is permanently displayed at the bottom of the display and shows your progress towards the daily goal by scrolling across the display. By switching the buttons (left and right) you go through the measured data of the fitness bracelet - indicator of daily activities / steps / calories / distance / current heart rate.

Daily activity indicator: the phase of the daily level reached is graphically displayed. The goal is divided into three trophies for each day - bronze / silver / gold. The daily goal is preset to 10,000 steps, in the settings this goal can be adapted to your own needs.
Events: number of steps for the current day.
Calories: shows the amount of calories burned for the current day not only during targeted training, but also calories burned within the phase of basal metabolism.
Distance: is calculated based on steps and step frequency. At a faster pace, a longer stride is assumed.
Current heart rate: displays the current heart rate.
Speed + distance
iD.LIFE measures speed in units of km/h or min/km and distance. Speed and distance are measured using an integrated 3D accelerometer. The measured distance is calculated based on the data from this motion sensor.
Integrated USB rechargeable lithium battery
The battery can be charged either from a computer using the included microUSB cable or directly from the mains. The USB port is located on the bottom and is protected by a flexible silicone seal. The battery lasts up to 18 days.
Display lighting
The illumination of the display will allow you to train anytime/anywhere and to have an overview of your training even in the dark.
Large display
On the large display, the data is shown in large numbers, letters and graphic symbols for the best possible readability and simplicity.
