Fenix CL23 portable lamp

Fenix CL23 is a practical portable lamp that you can use to illuminate a room, tent, camp or desk. High-brightness SMD diodes hidden under a cylindrical diffuser provide a luminous flux of up to 300 lumens (ANSI) with a neutral shade of white light. The advantage of this shade of light is a more natural and contrasting color rendering in nature. Three AA batteries provide power. Two or even one battery can be used in an emergency, but higher modes will not be available. The lantern offers a total of eight lighting modes, including bottom and side lighting, and there is also a red light that does not interfere with the adaptation of the eyes to darkness.

The side light and the back light are very practical, energy-saving features. They are especially suitable in situations where circular omnidirectional lighting is not necessary. The lantern is also equipped with an endurance function. When used for longer in turbo (300 lumens) and high (150 lumens) modes, the lantern gradually reduces power in small increments to achieve longer lighting times.

Thanks to the durable and impact-resistant construction with IP66 protection, the light can be used safely even in bad weather (heavy rain). The upper side of the lantern is equipped with a hanging eye and a thread for mounting on a tripod. Thanks to its compact dimensions and weight of 140 grams, the lantern is especially suitable for hiking.

All luminaire parameters (luminous flux, battery life, water resistance, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI / NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Use of camping lantern Fenix CL23

To turn on or off, hold down the side button for 0.5 seconds. The white light modes are switched by pressing the button, the red light is activated by pressing the button twice quickly. You can then switch between red and red flashing with a single press.

The batteries in the lantern change from the top. Turn the hanging eye according to the arrows and remove the battery cover. After replacing the batteries, replace the cover and turn the eyelet again according to the arrows.

If the batteries are discharged to such an extent that the lantern does not switch to the 150 lumen mode, it is advisable to replace the batteries. This prevents disposable batteries from leaking.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Remove the batteries from the lantern if you will not be using it for a long time or if the battery is already discharged. This will prevent the batteries from leaking and damaging the lantern.
• If the light is blinking, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not turn on, this may be one of the following reasons:
  • The batteries are low - replace them.
  • The electrical contacts are dirty - clean them with a cotton ball soaked in alcohol.
