Fenix TK72R flashlight

The ultra-powerful rechargeable light Fenix TK72R brings an extreme luminous flux of up to 9000 lumens (ANSI) and a wide cone with an afterglow of up to 286 meters. It achieves its performance using three high-performance Cree XHP70 LEDs, which are powered by an internal Li-ion battery with a capacity of 50.4 Wh, which is recharged directly in the lamp via a micro USB connector. The lamp offers a unique control using three buttons, thanks to which it is possible to smoothly change the output from 100 to 9000 lumens in steps of 100 lumens. There is also a strobe flash mode. In addition, the lamp is equipped with an OLED display that shows the battery status, selected mode and lighting time. In addition, the lamp can also be used as a POWERBANK in an emergency and charge other USB devices from it. This searchlight is suitable, for example, for guarding large areas, official use or search and rescue operations and for all light enthusiasts.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

The use

There may be an insulating cap on the battery from the factory. Remove it before first use. By holding down the right button (+) for about half a second , the lamp will switch on to the 5000 lumens mode . Holding the left button (-) for half a second activates the 200 lumen mode. By holding down the bottom button for half a second, the lamp will turn on in the last selected mode. By pressing the (+) and (-) buttons individually, the power can be increased and decreased in steps of 100 lumens, holding them down changes the power in steps of 1000 lumens. Turbo mode (9000 lumens) can be activated directly by briefly pressing the lower button (the lamp must be switched on). By holding down the lower button for half a second, the lamp turns off. The strobe can be turned on by holding down the bottom button for 1.2 seconds.

The control buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous activation, e.g. When transporting in luggage - press the bottom button twice in quick succession within 0.5 seconds. The light will then flash to indicate locking. To unlock, it is necessary to quickly press the bottom button twice again.

Charging - connect the charger to the socket, unscrew the rubber cover of the charging connector and plug the cable into the micro-USB connector in the lamp. The charging icon and battery charge status will appear on the display. The expected charging time for a completely discharged battery is approx. 6 hours when using the included charging adapter. After charging is complete, seal the connector thoroughly with a rubber cap. Other USB sources can also be used for charging - mobile phone charger, POWERBANK, USB adapter in the car, etc.

Charging external USB devices (power bank function) - unfold the rubber cover of the USB connector and connect the device you want to charge with a suitable USB cable. After charging has started, the discharge icon will appear on the display. The maximum discharge current is 2A. After charging, do not forget to properly seal the USB connector with a rubber cap.

Battery charge status indication - after a short press of the bottom button, the battery charge status will be displayed for 5 seconds (the lamp must be switched off).

Intelligent protection against overheating - after exceeding the temperature of 65°C, the lamp automatically gradually reduces the output to 2500 lumens, after cooling down the output can be increased again.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the lamp yourself, this will void the warranty.

• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.

• If the light flickers, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:

  • The battery is dead, charge it.

  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

  • The body is loose, tighten it.
