Fenix TK25 Red tactical LED flashlight

The powerful tactical flashlight Fenix T K25 Red offers a top luminous flux of up to 1000 ANSI lumens of white light and in addition two red LEDs with a power of up to 310 lumens and afterglow
200 meters. The very solid and waterproof design and two-layer construction of the body predestines this tactical light for harsh outdoor conditions, for professionals, armed forces and hunting. The Fenix TK25 Red flashlight uses a dual tactical switch that enables faster and more reliable control in crisis situations. For example, it can be easily switched directly to stroboscopic mode. The lamp is powered by a digitally controlled constant current to guarantee a constant light output even when the voltage in the batteries is reduced (while they are gradually discharged).

Fenix TK25 Red has a total of five white light modes with a duration of up to 110 hours and three red light modes.

Switching between white and red light mode is very easy, just turn the light head by 90°. Due to the magnetic sensors in the head of the lamp, however, it cannot be used with a magnetic mounting on a weapon, which disrupts its proper function.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Parameters of the Fenix TK25 RED LED lamp:

• Two powerful white Cree XP-G2 S3 LEDs with a lifespan of 50,000 hours and two red Cree XP-E2 LEDs are used.

• Five modes of white light output: 1000 lumens (2 hours) -> 300 lumens (5.3 hours) -> 100 lumens (22.3 hours) -> 15 lumens (110 hours) -> strobe (strobe flashing).

• Three red light modes: 310 lumens / 5500mW (2.5 hours) -> 100 lumens (9.3 hours) -> 10 lumens (100 hours)

• Double aluminum reflector for a perfect light cone with an afterglow of up to 225 meters (12650 cd) for white light and 200 meters (10000 cd) for red light.

• Two 3V CR123A type lithium batteries or one 18650 rechargeable high-capacity Li-ion battery can be used for power supply.

• Endurance times are measured with a rechargeable Li-ion battery type 18650 with a capacity of 3500 mAh.

• Electronics with digital constant power regulation and protection against reverse battery insertion.

• System of two springs - high resistance of the lamp when used on a weapon.

• Intelligent protection against overheating, operation in the maximum mode is limited only by the temperature of the lamp, not by time.

Controlling

To turn it on, press the larger button located at the end of the lamp, for immediate activation, gently press the button. You can switch between power modes at any time during operation by pressing the secondary toggle button. To switch to flash mode with the lamp on, hold down the switch button for about 1 second. Press and hold the toggle button to switch the light directly into strobe mode. It is switched between the white and red light modes by turning the lamp head by 90 °. You can switch between the red modes again with the second smaller button.

Intelligent protection against overheating - if the lamp's temperature rises above 65 °C, it will automatically reduce power in gradual steps of 5% every 30 seconds until its temperature stabilizes. As soon as the temperature of the lamp drops below 65 °C, the power will automatically increase again to the original level. Operation at the highest power mode is thus not limited by time, but only by temperature.

Warning of dead batteries - the lamp will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode and flash 3 times every five minutes.

Warning

• Use only high-quality 3V CR123A batteries and 18650 Li-ion batteries to avoid damage to the lamp, for example due to leakage of substances from the battery.

• Insert the batteries with the positive pole towards the lamp head

• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.

• If the light flickers, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:

  • Batteries are low - replace them.

  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

  • The head, body or back of the lamp is loose, tighten it.
