Fenix SD20 diving LED light

The light for divers Fenix ​​SD20 offers a luminous flux of up to 1000 lumens of white light and 105 lumens of red light, which does not disturb aquatic animals. Thanks to its robust waterproof construction, it can be used up to a depth of 100 meters underwater. There are a total of three light modes, which are easily selected with one hand using the rotating magnetic ring on the light head. The light sources are the powerful LED Cree XM-L2 U2 and the red LED Cree XQE. Two 18650 Li-ion batteries or four disposable CR123A lithium batteries can be used for power supply. The lamp is also equipped with an indication of the state of charge of the batteries and intelligent protection against overheating.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

The use:

To turn on, turn off and select individual modes, turn the control ring to the desired position. Turning it to the last position activates the battery charge status indicator: if it lights up red, the batteries are sufficiently charged, if red flashes slowly, the batteries are almost discharged, and if they flash quickly, they are completely discharged.

Warning about dead batteries - If the battery voltage drops below 6.2 V, the lamp automatically switches the output to 400 lumens, when the voltage drops below 6 V, the lamp reduces the output to 100 lumens of white light or 25 lumens (when using red light).

Intelligent protection against overheating - If the lamp's temperature rises above 65°C, it will automatically reduce power in gradual steps of 5% every 30 seconds until its temperature stabilizes. As soon as the temperature of the lamp drops below 65°C, the power will automatically increase again to the original level. Operation at the highest power mode is thus not limited by time, but only by temperature.

Notice:

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the lamp yourself, this will void the warranty.

• Never mix batteries with different capacities or states of discharge (applies especially to CR123A batteries).

• Insert the batteries with the positive pole towards the lamp head.

• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to ensure full waterproofing when used deep underwater.

• If the lamp flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:

  • Batteries are almost empty - replace them.

  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

  • The back part of the lamp is loose, tighten it.
