Fenix SD11 diving LED light

The light for divers Fenix SD11 offers a luminous flux of up to 1000 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of up to 45 meters. It creates a wide and very smooth light cone, especially suitable for photography and video recording. The package also includes a holder for attaching the lamp to a tripod, camera or GoPro camera. Thanks to its robust waterproof construction , it can be used up to a depth of 100 meters under water. There are three lighting levels with a duration of up to 3.7 hours, including the R+ mode, which combines a neutral shade of light with a red LED. This mode is particularly suitable for photography and filming at depth underwater. The light source is the latest powerful Cree XM-L2 U2 LED with a warmer shade of light (neutral white) and a red Cree XQE LED. The advantage of this shade of light is warmer and more contrasting colors. Two CR123A lithium batteries or one 18650 type li-ion battery (not included) can be used for power supply. The lamp is controlled by a magnetic ring on the head of the lamp.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Fenix SD11 lamp parameters

• A premium Cree XM-L2 U2 LED with a neutral shade of light and a red Cree XQE LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours are used

• Three power modes: 1000 lumens (2 hours) -> 500 lumens (3.7 hours) -> R+ 250 lumens (3 hours).

• Endurance times are measured with a rechargeable 18650 li-ion battery with a capacity of 3500mAh.

• Two 3V CR123A type lithium batteries or one 18650 rechargeable high-capacity li-ion battery can be used for power supply.

• Protection against overheating - if the lamp heats up above a safe limit (for example, when using the highest mode on land), there will be an automatic reduction of power.

• The body of the lamp is made of aviation hardened aluminum, the tube is double-walled.

• Durable hard-to-scratch surface - Type III hard anodized.

• The optical lens creates a wide smooth light cone with a afterglow of 45 meters (505 cd).

• Impact-resistant from a fall from a height of 1 meter.

The use:

To turn on, turn off and select individual modes, turn the control ring to the desired position. When turned to the right, two positions L (500 lumens) and H (1000 lumens) are available. When turned to the left, the R + positions and the battery charge indicator are available - if red, the batteries are sufficiently charged. If the red blinks slowly, the batteries are almost empty, and if they blink quickly, they are completely empty.

Notice:

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the lamp yourself, this will void the warranty.

• Never mix batteries with different capacities or states of discharge (applies especially to CR123A batteries).

• Insert the batteries with the positive pole towards the lamp head.

• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to ensure full waterproofing when used deep underwater.

• If the lamp flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:

  • Batteries are almost empty - replace them.

  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

  • The back part of the lamp is loose, tighten it.
