Fenix ​​PD35 LED lamp

The latest generation of the ultra-powerful pocket flashlight Fenix ​​PD35 brings a luminous flux of up to 1000 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of up to 250 meters. Excellent light performance was achieved by using the latest LED Cree XP-L HI V3. The lamp can be powered by two CR123A batteries or one high-capacity Li-ion 18650 battery. Fenix ​​PD35 has six different lighting modes that allow you to choose between high performance and long endurance (up to 430 hours, which is almost 18 days ), there is also a stroboscopic flash mode for crisis situations. The lamp is powered by a digitally regulated constant current to guarantee a constant light output even when the voltage in the batteries is reduced (while they are gradually discharged).

Compared to the previous generation, the lamp is equipped with an indication of the state of charge of the batteries. The PD35 V2.0 impresses not only with its small size and huge performance, but also with a tactical switch and the possibility of attaching a Fenix ​​AER-02 cable switch. We can therefore recommend it also for use in security forces and for hunting.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

The use

To turn it on, press the switch located at the end of the lamp, for immediate activation press the button. By pressing the side button at the light head, you can switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to strobe mode, hold down the side button for about 0.5 seconds. Intelligent protection against overheating - if the temperature of the light rises above 65 °C, it will automatically reduce the power in gradual steps until its temperature stabilizes. As soon as the temperature of the lamp drops below 65 °C, the power will automatically increase again to the original level. Operation at the highest power mode is thus not limited by time, but only by temperature.

Indication of the state of charge of the batteries - each time it is switched on, the indicator LED in the side button of the lamp is activated for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged to 25-50%. Red flashing means less than 25% battery capacity left (only works when using 18650 Li-ion battery).

Warning of exhausted batteries - the lamp will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode, then it will flash every three seconds in the lowest mode. The indicator LED in the button lights up red at the same time.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.

• Use only high-quality 3V CR123A batteries and 18650 Li-ion batteries to avoid damage to the lamp, for example due to leakage of substances from the battery.

• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.

• If the lamp flashes, does not switch to higher modes or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:

  • Batteries are low - replace them.

  • The contacts inside the lamp are clogged - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

  • The head, body or back of the lamp is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten both the head and the end of the lamp.
