Fenix flashlight LD05 High CRI + UV

Fenix LD05 V2.0 is a compact LED pen-shaped lamp powered by two AAA micropencil batteries. It offers a luminous flux of up to 100 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of 54 meters. It is equipped with a powerful Cree XQ-E LED with a warmer shade of light and a high color rendering index CRI 90 (Color Rendering Index). Thanks to the faithful color rendering, it is suitable, for example, for medical examinations.

In addition, it is equipped with ultraviolet LED with a wavelength of 365 nm and a radiant flux of 200 mW. Ultraviolet light, for example, allows you to quickly check the authenticity of documents, banknotes and payment cards. It also serves to control the purity or quality of the material or for forensic analysis. The head and end of the lamp are made of stainless steel and in addition, this UV flashlight is equipped with a clip for carrying in a pocket or on a belt. With a length of 13.5 centimeters and a weight of 30 grams, the LD05 is the ideal flashlight for everyday wear (Everyday Carry - EDC). With a diameter of 1.35 centimeters, it is also suitable for lighting less accessible places. Due to its parameters, we recommend it as a flashlight for doctors, police officers and as a work light.

All luminaire parameters (luminous flux, battery life, water resistance, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI / NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Fenix LD05 High CRI + UV luminaire parameters

• A powerful Cree XQ-E HI Warm LED with a warmer light shade, a CRI index of 90 and a lifespan of 50,000 hours and a UV LED with a wavelength of 365 nm are used.

• Four power levels:

  • measured with NiMH 750 mAh batteries: 100 lumens (2.15 hours) -> 25 lumens (6.6 hours) -> 5 lumens (36 hours) -> UV 200 mW (7 hours).

  • measured with alkaline batteries: 100 lumens (1.65 hours) -> 25 lumens (7.8 hours) -> 5 lumens (70 hours) -> UV 200 mW (9 hours).

• It uses two micropencil batteries (type AAA - alkaline, lithium or rechargeable NiMH). These batteries are cheap and widely available.

• Energizer L92 lithium micropencil batteries (especially suitable for extreme temperature conditions) will provide the longest life.

• The lamp has a memory and always switches on in the last set mode.

Using the Fenix LD05 flashlight

To switch on, press the switch located at the end of the lamp. The lamp has a memory and always switches on in the last set mode. With the luminaire on, you can change the power modes at any time by pressing the button (they switch cyclically: low - medium - high - UV).

Overheat protection - after 3 minutes of operation in the highest mode, the power is gradually reduced to 60 lumens.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed part of the lamp head yourself, as this will void the warranty.

• Use only high-quality micropencil batteries to prevent damage to the luminaire, for example due to battery leakage.

• Remove the batteries from the lamp if it will not be used for a long time or if the battery is already discharged.

• Insert the batteries with the positive pole towards the head of the lamp.

• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the luminaire will be properly protected against water.

• If the light is blinking or does not turn on, this may be one of the following reasons:

  • The batteries are low - replace them.

  • The head of the lamp is loose, tighten it.

  • The contacts inside the luminaire are clogged - clean them with a cloth soaked in alcohol.
