The Fenix FD41 tactical focusing light delivers a luminous flux of up to 900 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of up to 340 meters. The light source is a top Cree XP-L HI (High Intensity) LED, its light is directed by special TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optics with the possibility of adjusting the width of the light cone (zoom function). The width of the cone is controlled by turning the ring on the lamp head. Despite the adjustable optics, the lamp maintains full waterproofness according to the IP68 standard up to a depth of two meters under water. The robust and waterproof design predestines this tactical flashlight for harsh outdoor conditions, for professionals, armed forces and hunting. One high-capacity 18650 Li-ion battery or two CR123A disposable batteries can be used for power supply. The tactical switch at the end is used to turn on the lamp, the modes are switched with the side button.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Using the Fenix FD41 zoom flashlight

To turn it on, press the switch located at the end of the lamp, for immediate activation, hold down the button. By pressing the side button on the light head, you can switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to flash mode, hold down the side button for about 0.5 seconds.

The width of the cone is controlled by turning the ring on the lamp head.

Intelligent protection against overheating - operation on the turbo mode of 900 lumens is limited to 5 minutes at a time, after which the lamp automatically switches to the mode of 350 lumens. At the same time, the lamp monitors its temperature, and if it rises above 55°C, it will automatically reduce the power in gradual steps of 5% every 30 seconds until its temperature stabilizes. As soon as the temperature of the lamp drops below 55°C, the output will automatically increase again to the original level.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.
• Use only high-quality 3V CR123A batteries or 18650 li-ion batteries to avoid damage to the lamp.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
• If the light flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  • Batteries are almost empty - replace them.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The back of the lamp is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten.
