The Fenix E30R pocket rechargeable flashlight offers a luminous flux of up to 1600 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of up to 203 meters. It is one of the most powerful lamps for one Li-ion 18650 battery. It is part of the package (with a capacity of 3500 mAh) and can be charged directly in the lamp via a USB cable with a special magnetic connector. However, in an emergency, the lamp can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries. The Fenix E30R lamp has six different lighting modes, which allow you to choose between high power and long endurance (up to 70.5 hours), there is also a mode of stroboscopic flashes for crisis situations. The lamp is equipped with an indication of the battery charge status and is powered by a digitally regulated constant current to guarantee a constant light output even when the voltage in the batteries is reduced (while they are gradually discharging). This model is a great choice for everyone who is looking for the smallest possible and at the same time the most powerful rechargeable lamp.

The use

To turn on or off, hold down the side button for about 0.5 seconds. The lamp always turns on in 30 lumen mode, you can switch to other power levels at any time during use by pressing the side button. To switch to flash mode, hold down the side button for about 1 second.

The control button can be locked so that it does not turn on by itself, e.g. when transporting in luggage - press the control button twice quickly (within 0.5 seconds). To unlock, quickly press the button twice again. You can also prevent unwanted switching on by loosening the end of the lamp by roughly a quarter of a turn.

Protection against overheating - due to the dimensions of the lamp and the huge power in the mode of 1600 lumens, the operation in the turbo mode is limited in time. After 60 seconds in 1600 lumen mode, the output will gradually decrease to 900 lumens for 30 seconds. If the temperature of the lamp exceeds 65°C, the lamp starts to reduce the output in small steps until the temperature stabilizes or the output is reduced to 350 lumens.

Charging - plug the charging cable into the USB connector of the computer, the USB adapter into the network or into the car. After connecting the cable, the indicator light on it lights up red. Attach the cable to the charging pad on the lamp, it will attach itself using magnets. During charging, the indicator light on the cable lights up red, after charging is complete, it stays green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 4 hours.

Battery charge status indication - when the light is off, a short press of the side button activates the indicator LED in the side button of the light for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged to 25-50%. Blinking red means there is less than 25% battery capacity left.

Warning of exhausted batteries (functional only when using Li-ion 18650) - the lamp gradually automatically switches to the lowest mode and the indicator LED in the button starts flashing red.

Notice:

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.

• When using disposable CR123A batteries, do not try to charge them in the lamp.
  

• The manufacturer strongly does not recommend the use of Li-ion 18650 batteries without protective electronics.

• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.

• If the lamp flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, this could be one of the reasons:

  • The battery is almost empty - charge it or replace it.

  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

  • The lamp head is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten.
