Fenix E18R rechargeable flashlight

Fenix E18R is a miniature rechargeable LED pocket light with a short-term extreme output of up to 750 lumens (ANSI). This model uses a Cree XP-L HI diode as a light source. Thanks to the length of only 60 millimeters and the weight of 52 grams (including the battery), it can be carried with you at all times - in your pocket, on your keys or in your purse. It can be powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery RCR123A, which can be charged in the lamp via a magnetic connector from any USB source (e.g. computer, POWERBANK, smartphone charger). A disposable CR123A battery can also be used in an emergency.

It goes without saying that the high quality of the design, durability and waterproofness are essential. The lamp is equipped with a removable two-way clip and the end is equipped with a magnet. A unique innovation is a special collimator that creates a light cone with a surprising afterglow of 136 meters. The collimator is made with technology used in the automotive industry and its height is only 3 millimeters, which is less than half compared to commonly used optics. The use

To turn on or off, hold down the side button for about 0.5 seconds. You can switch power modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button. To switch to flash mode, hold down the side button for about 1 second.

The control button can be locked so that it does not turn on by itself, e.g. when transporting in luggage - press the control button twice quickly (within 0.5 seconds). To unlock, quickly press the button twice again. You can also prevent unwanted switching on by loosening the lamp head by about a quarter of a turn.

Protection against overheating - due to the miniature dimensions of the lamp and the huge power in the 750 lumen mode, the operation in the turbo mode is limited in time. After about 30 seconds, the lamp starts to reduce the output in small steps, and after about 2 minutes it settles at a luminous flux of 250 lumens.
Charging - plug the charging cable into the USB connector on the computer, on the network adapter or in the car. After connection, the light on the cable lights up green. Attach the cable with a magnet to the charging surface on the lamp, it will attach itself using magnets. During charging, the indicator light on the cable flashes green, after charging is complete, it remains green.

Battery charge status indication - when the light is off, a short press of the side button activates the indicator LED in the side button of the light for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged to 25-50%. Blinking red means there is less than 25% battery capacity left.

Warning of exhausted batteries (functional only when using li-ion RCR123A) - the lamp gradually automatically switches to the lowest mode and the indicator LED in the button starts flashing red.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.
• Use only high-quality 3V CR123A batteries and RCR123A Li-ion batteries to avoid damage to the lamp, for example due to leakage of substances from the battery.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
• If the flashlight flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:

• Batteries are almost empty - replace them.
• The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
• The lamp body is loose, tighten it.
