Compact two-channel USB charger Fenix ARE-X2 for Li-ion and NiMH/NiCd batteries. When a charged Li-ion battery is inserted, it also functions as a backup source (power bank) for charging USB devices (mobile phones, MP3 players and others). The charger is designed for 3.7V and 3.6V lithium-ion batteries and 1.2V nickel-metal hydride and nickel-cadmium batteries of size AA, AAA. Each charging slot is monitored independently, so batteries of different sizes, capacities and even different types can be charged simultaneously (both Li-Ion and NiMH/NiCd can be charged simultaneously).
USB charger parameters:
Two independently monitored charging channels, CC/CV charging algorithm.
Two levels of charging current - 400 mA and 1000 mA. The charging current is selected automatically according to the length and type of accumulators.
For example, the following li-ion batteries can be charged in the charger: 26650, 18650, 17670, 18500, 18490, 18350, 17500, 14500, 16340. It is also possible to charge all pencil and micropencil accumulators from our offer.
Protection against reverse insertion of batteries, short circuit, overcharge and too deep discharge.
Charger weight: 96 grams.
Dimensions: 115x63x30 millimeters.
The delivery includes a charger and a USB cable.
It is possible to purchase a USB network adapter or a USB car adapter for the charger (they are not part of the package).
USB output parameters:
When a charged li-ion battery is inserted, it also functions as a backup USB source for charging mobile phones and other USB devices.
USB output parameters: 5V, 1000 - 1500 mA (depending on the power of the inserted battery).
Charging batteries:
Connect the charger using the included USB cable to a computer, USB network adapter or USB car adapter. A standard mobile phone charger with a micro-USB connector can also be used for power. Insert the discharged battery, then the indicator LEDs will signal the charging progress. If one LED is flashing, the battery is less than 30% charged, one LED lit and the second flashing indicates a charge of 30% to 70%, two LEDs lit and the third flashing indicates a state of charge of 70% to 95%. A full charge of the accumulator means that all three status LEDs are still lit.
Charging USB devices: (use as a backup USB source)
Insert a charged battery into the charger (only works with Li-ion type). Plug the USB cable into the output USB connector and connect the charging device. During charging (e.g. mobile phone) indicator LEDs flash. After the end of charging or discharge of the source accumulator, the indicator LED goes out completely.
Battery charge status indication:
After inserting the battery, the charger displays its current state of charge for three seconds. If one status LED lights up, then the battery is charged at 10% to 40%, two LEDs indicate 41% to 80%, and three LEDs indicate charges at more than 80%. If no status LED lights up, the battery is charged to less than 10%.
Notice:
Do not charge Li-ion cells that have gone through a state of excessive discharge (below 2V).
Observe the safety principles when using the charger.
We recommend using high-quality batteries.
It is not designed for charging LiFePO4 batteries.
