When choosing tires, the most important are measurements. Those are initiated as the inner diameter and width (mm or inches). The inner diameter of a road or trekking bike is usually 700 mm (28"). If you choose width to 25 mm (stated as 700x25), then the width of the rim or the place in the frame of the bicycle should not limit you. If you have larger dimensions, then check recommendations from the manufacturer of your components. Some manufacturers state TPI (threads per inch). The higher the number, the lighter the tire with less rolling resistance. But it is also less durable.
