GIRO Eclipse Spherical MIPS helmet
The Eclipse Spherical is a unique aero helmet that combines the best of Giro technologies into a compact shape ideal for competitive cycling.Spherical Technology Powered by MIPS. This technology is based on the principle of the joint. The shell consists of two parts (hemispheres) inserted into each other and connected using yellow elastomers. The whole system creates a kind of cushioning that absorbs forces in the event of an impact - the hemispheres can move relative to each other and the elastomers absorb the energy. In addition, the outer shell is made of harder material, the inner one is made of softer material (Progressive Layering technology).
