The carbon frame created from the highest quality fibers is extremely rigid, but light and with the necessary amount of comfort . As if created for difficult climbs , but at the same time reliable in all circumstances. The integrated seat post, carbon components, and electronic shifting are built for the professional peloton.

Nenápadná krabica a v nej všetko obalené a zabezpečené proti poškodeniu karbónových komponentov.

Nedalo nám to a ešte pred namontovaním sme samostatne odvážili predné koleso. S nasadeným 160 mm brzdovým kotúčom Shimano RT-MT900, plášťom CADEX Race 700x25c váha ukázala 1,02 kg.

Ďalej už pokračujeme „klasicky“ - kokpitom. Riadidlá a predstavec Giant Contact SLR sú vyhotovené z uhlíkových vlákien. Šírka riadidiel je 440 mm, dĺžka predstavca 110 mm.

Pokračujeme sedlovkou. Tá je integrovaná do rámu a skracuje sa na mieru. Napríklad na základe bikefittingu, ktorý ponúkame aj u nás v MTBIKER centre v Hrádku alebo v MTBIKER Bratislava. My ju nechávame v pôvodnom stave, no je k nej špeciálna objímka, ktorá umožňuje dodatočné nastavenie v malom rozsahu. Doplníme sedlo Giant Fleet SLR.

Poskladaný bicykel zavesíme na váhu a jej hodnota sa zastaví na 6,70 kg. Po doplnení správnych pedálov sa môžeme smelo postaviť pred komisára UCI.

Raw carbon - teda surové vyhotovenie bez pridanej farby dodáva bicyklu efektný vzhľad, keď sa uhlíkové vlákna na slnku rôzne odrážajú.

Bicykel stojí na pretekárskom sete kolies Giant CADEX Race. Výška ráfikov je 42 mm. Rovnaké označenie nesú aj náboje pre 12 mm pevné osy a tiež plášte o šírke 25 mm. Maximálne šírka je výrobcom stanovená na 32 mm.

V zjazdoch z horskej prémie jazdca podržia hydraulické brzdy Dura - Ace a kotúče s priemerom 160 mm vpredu a 140 mm vzadu.

Naopak, na vrchársku prémiu ho dostane elektronická sada Shimano Dura - Ace Di2 ST-R9270. Tá spolupracuje s kazetou rovnakého radu s rozsahom 11 - 34z a kľukami s powermetrom FC-9200P a s prevodníkmi 36/52. Tieto komponenty spája reťaz Dura - Ace 9100.

How we ship bikes

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:

The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
6. Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
7. Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

Road bikes from Giant

Giant was established in 1971 in Taiwan, they are one of the largest bicycle producers in the world. In the beginning, they made bikes for other companies. Since 1981 Giant has been supplying the market with bicycles under their name. They were one of the first companies to start mass production of carbon framesets. Liv is their brand for bikes for women offering MTB, road and gravel bikes. Components are also included in their offer as well as wheelsets under the name Cadex (their brand name).
