GT Grade Elite 28 bike

The new GT Grade model brings a completely redesigned Triple Triangle frame triangle, which has floating rear struts compared to the original model. Thanks to greater vertical compliance, this solution increases comfort during all-day rides in various terrains. The front fork is carbon in the Expert and Elite aluminum models, unfortunately, but without the possibility of modifying the geometry using a " flip chip". "

For long journeys and endless adventures, the Grade is equipped with mounting points on the fork and frame. So you can clip a pannier to the top tube, the fork has "anything cage" points and the alloy frames have bottle mount points on the seatstays too!

The patency of the tires is also an important parameter. Grade follows the current trends, when the wheels are fitted with tires with a width of 37 mm, which is a good compromise for road and gravel riding. However, the bike can handle a width of up to 42 mm for a real off-road adventure. The Grade also has no specific components, so riders can easily customize the bike to their own preferences.

Light and occassional rides

Suitable not only for commuting to work, but also for weekend trips outside the city. Ride on cycle paths, paved and gravel roads and during weekend activities. If you ride more frequently, expect to do the necessary fine-tuning more regularly.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:
  1. The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
  2. The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
  3. The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
  4. If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
  5. If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
    1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
    2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
    3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
    4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
    5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
    6. Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
    7. Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
    8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
    9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

This Californian brand has been designing and manufacturing bikes since 1972. They are one of the pioneers in the MTB discipline. Their framesets are easily recognisable thanks to their strict policy of three frameset triangles. GT's offer focuses essentially on bikes for unconsolidated terrain, which was their speciality from the start.
