VDO R4 GPS

GPS computer for beginners and advanced users

Large display, simple operation and 14 functions: the GPS computer of the R series displays all the basic data that both beginners and advanced riders will appreciate. In addition to displaying speed, daily distance traveled and time of riding or training, this smart computer also provides navigation functions and can be paired with compatible electric bicycles. The high-contrast 2-inch display with extra large digits is easy to read even while driving. The highlighted blue square in the upper right part of the display enables a new way of displaying training data. In combination with the SIGMA RIDE application for smartphones, it is possible to set up to six individual displays of training data with a few clicks. The VDO R4 GPS is mounted on the handlebars using a pre-mounted bracket (included in the package), so the computer is centrally located above the stem. The holder fits handlebars with a diameter of 31.8 to 35 mm. Installation of cables and sensors is not necessary.

Simple navigation
The VDO R4 GPS computer can be easily paired with the SIGMA RIDE smartphone application. With this application, it is possible to import routes from other sources or to go to a specific destination using the "Search and Go" function and its detailed turn-by-turn instructions. These are displayed on the computer screen as arrows, while the phone is safely hidden in a pocket or backpack.

Ready for electric bikes
R4 GPS can also work with many models of electric bicycles. The computer connects to the compatible e-bike system and shows the current level of motor support, battery status and other important data on the display.

Wise warnings
Thanks to this function, you can be in touch with the surrounding world even while riding a bicycle. Information about incoming calls and text messages from your smartphone will be displayed on the computer screen.

Convenient data analysis using the SIGMA RIDE application
The SIGMA RIDE application is a free tool for transferring training data from a GPS computer to a smartphone via the BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) interface. The application clearly presents basic data and statistics using colored segments that are immediately readable and easily analysed. You can instantly share data from your ride in training apps like Strava, TrainingPeaks or komoot.
